One theory holds that infants are born with a “sweet tooth” or candy one to make them more eager to consume breast milk, which apparently has a very sweet taste (it’s been a while for me, so I’m taking the word of the scientists out there who keep “abreast” of such matter!). I’m not sure about that though, because this doesn’t explain the continued, and in some cases increased, attraction to sweet things, as pre-adolescence progresses. They are very tasty and people love to have them due to their tasty and crunchy nature.
Sugar delivers high quantities of energy. Children grow fast in pre-adolescence, and require a lot of calories, as a result. This biological imperative for foods containing high calories is met most efficiently in foods containing high sources of energy. children are biologically predisposed to consume high-calorie substances like candy. When growth slows in adolescence, the desire for such high-sugar intake usually tapers off a little, although for some it continues, and can become harmful.
How Do We Regard Children Eating Too Many Candy?
The four to puberty range is also the range that kids like sugary foods the most. Puberty is when sugar consumption starts decreasing. (Unless parents haven’t created an artificial scarcity that makes sugar a precious commodity to be hoarded and glutted.) As a mother who allowed candy while also keeping lots of other fun easy to eat nutritious foods available, my experience with my daughter’s candy-eating paralleled the findings of the study. She ate more sugary foods from age 4 to puberty but, since it wasn’t limited, she didn’t eat it endlessly.
She always had Halloween candy that ended up being thrown away. This is the same experience that other mothers I know of who didn’t limit their children’s candy had. While kids eat more sugary foods than adults — which makes adults nervous! — if sugar isn’t controlled, they’ll eat as much as they (and their brains!) need while eating a range of other foods. It won’t look like an adult diet. But it will be what’s more natural to the needs of the child’s body.
Do You Like Candies?
Certainly. I like eating candy. I think there is nobody who does not like eating candy. I like the crunch. There is another type of candy that does not include chocolates. That type candies are also I like. There is a different type of candy. Each candy has its own taste. Continuous eating of candy will cause some health problems. Migraine is one of the defects of continuous eating of chocolates. So all don’t use such type can=dy much more. We can have it that often. But don t use more. The truth is that now in candy also contains poison. The truth is that people cannot recognize poison including candy. Without looking at the perfection of candy they bring that type of candy every day.
