Opt for all-natural peanut butter brands without added sugar. Also, check the label that there is no hydrogenated oil. Choose a good jam (like strawberry) that also does not have artificial sweeteners. A well-made PBJ has a nearly complete nutritional profile, with protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and even some fiber.
