1 loaf Challah bread, sliced into 1-inch thick slices

6 eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Grease a baking dish with butter. Arrange the sliced bread in the dish in an even layer.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Pour the mixture over the bread, making sure all of the slices are evenly coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
