Try these recipes at home, they are easy to make and get ready in less than 25 minutes; moreover, you don’t need to buy any expensive or special ingredients to make them, so they are going to be an effortless treat for your mornings.

  1. Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients:

  • 10 Strawberries (sliced)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • Two ⅓ cups Original Bisquick mix
  • ½  cup milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine (melted)
  • ½ cup whipping cream

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees, meanwhile prepare the strawberry filling, mix ¼ cup sugar with strawberries, and set aside. Take a large bowl and add Bisquick mix, milk, butter, and 3 tbsp sugar, stir until you get a  soft dough. Prepare a baking sheet and drop spoonfuls of dough to make 6 shortcake discs, bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare the whipped cream in a separate bowl, beat the cream with a blender at high speed until soft peaks are formed. Take out the shortcakes, slice half crosswise, fill with the strawberries and whipped cream in the middle, add some on its top, and serve.

  1. Vegan Bisquick Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 ½  cups almond milk/soy milk/coconut milk

Preparation:

Take a large mixing bowl and add Bisquick, brown sugar, baking powder, and vanilla essence, mix them well. Add the milk slowly while stirring the ingredients, consistency should be as you wish, let the batter sit for 5 minutes, it makes the pancakes fluffier. You can also mash 2 bananas and add them to the batter but that is optional. Now heat a nonstick pan on medium flame, spray some cooking oil or butter, when it’s hot pour ¼ cup batter on the pan, flip when one side is golden brown, cook both sides well. You can change the portion size if you want bigger/smaller pancakes, serve them with syrup and blueberries on top.

  1. Cheesy Bisquick Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ cup Bisquick
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt for taste
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 6 pieces bacon
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 cups frozen diced hash browns

Preparation:

Cook the bacon on both sides until golden brown, dry on a paper towel, chop them, or cut into small pieces. Now take a mixing bowl, combine eggs, Bisquick, milk, salt, and freshly ground pepper, add half bacon and half cup cheddar cheese; whisk all ingredients together and then put this mixture into a greased baking pan. Spread the hash browns over this mixture evenly, top with remaining cheese and remaining bacon. Bake the pie at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes, check with a toothpick, serve warm.
